american investor richard kayne who
fell in love with the area in 1996 and who
engaged famed course designer tom doak and queenstown-based landscape architect john darby to develop a course for his family and friends.

jerry johnson was employed by the directors of the tara iti development company as construction manager for a five year period and his team has since shifted focus to building high-end residential properties around the wider development.
